About Our Catering Company

SoLoweCatering in Wentzville, MO takes pride in offering mouthwatering dishes and commendable services for private events as well as commercial functions. We do all types of parties, including in-home birthdays or anniversaries for two, outdoor BBQs, fish fries, and large wedding receptions. In addition, we offer hands-on cooking classes, personal chefs (certain guidelines may apply), weekly meal preps, or coursed wine dinners for groups. Executive Chef

Jon Lowe

Jon Lowe, Executive Chef for one of the main cafes at Boeing in St. Louis, was born and raised in Central Kentucky. Since the age of eleven, he has been working toward his goal of becoming an Executive Chef.

After graduating from Johnson & Wales University in 1998, Jon accepted a Sous Chef position at a nearby catering company in Charleston, South Carolina.

In 2000 Chef Lowe moved to Memphis to open a Mediterranean concept for a small company outside of Kansas City, MO. Eventually the company transferred him to St. Louis where he was able to contribute in handling daily operation and creating special dinners for the community.

While living in St. Louis, Jon has worked at various restaurants and large corporations including Oceano Bistro, Ya ya's Cafe and Washington University in St. Louis. He also teaches cooking classes, works on food trucks and assists with a friend's catering company.

Over the last year Jon has decided to venture out on his own and start SoLowe Catering Company while he continues to do other various projects with other chefs around the St. Louis area.

Jon strives on searching for the freshest ingredients, this allows him to fuse them together naturally and capture the flavors at their peak time of season. An upscale comfort food style can be used to describe his cuisine.
